TidyPace — Privacy Notice

Status: TidyPace is in development and has not been released. This notice covers the TidyPace pages of this website today, and describes how the TidyPace Android app is designed to handle data. It will be reviewed and finalised before the app is released; if anything changes, the version at this URL will be updated first.

The short version: TidyPace is built local-first. Your tasks, spaces, reset history, reflections and time/energy choices are designed to stay on your device — never sent to us, to RevenueCat or to anyone else. No account, no ads, no trackers.

Who we are

TidyPace ("the app") is being developed and will be published by T&O Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14056578). T&O Ventures Ltd is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: support_tidypace@trysignabench.com.

What this notice covers

This website — the TidyPace pages at toventures.co.uk/tidypace, which are live now.
The TidyPace Android app — which is pre-release. The app sections below describe designed behaviour, not a shipped product.

This website

The site is static. We set no cookies, run no analytics and include no advertising or tracking scripts on the TidyPace pages.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical request data (such as IP addresses) to serve and secure the site, under GitHub's privacy statement.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads.
If you email us, we receive what you send (your address and message) and use it only to reply and to improve the product. We don't add you to any marketing list.

The app: what stays on your device

Everything you put into TidyPace — your spaces, tasks, reset history, "how did that feel?" reflections and your time and energy choices — is stored locally on your device, inside the app's private storage. There is no account and no server of ours holding a copy. This content is never sent to RevenueCat, to analytics, or to anyone else. It leaves your device only if you explicitly export a backup file and choose where to send it.

The app: the only network connections

Core planning, history and data management work offline. The app's network use is limited to the following, each documented here:

Google Play purchase services — if you buy or restore a subscription, Google processes the payment. We never see your card details. Google's handling is governed by the Google Play and Google Payments privacy policies.
RevenueCat, Inc. — used to know whether a device has an active subscription. RevenueCat receives a purchase token and an app-generated pseudonymous identifier plus the limited technical information needed to validate the purchase — never your tasks, spaces, history, reflections or capacity choices. Links you choose to open — privacy, terms, support and manage-subscription links open in your browser or the Google Play app when you tap them.
Optional telemetry, only if separately approved and disclosed — the app may in future offer optional crash reporting or aggregate analytics. If that happens, it will be disclosed in this notice first, will be off until you are asked, and will never contain task names, space names or any free-text content. Today, none is in use.

What the app will not collect

No advertising, ad SDKs or advertising identifier.
No location, contacts, camera or photos, microphone, or health data.
No social login, no profile, no account, and no information from or about children — TidyPace is a general-audience tool for adults and is not directed at children.

Notifications

Reset reminders are optional and off by default. The app only asks for notification permission after explaining why, and reminders are scheduled locally on your device. By default no task names appear on your lock screen.

Backups and export

You can export your data as a plain, human-readable JSON file at any time. The export is not encrypted, so store it somewhere you trust. You choose where it goes and it stays entirely under your control; we never receive a copy.

Deleting your data

"Delete all local data" in the app removes your spaces, tasks and reset history, your settings, any scheduled notifications, app-created files, local identifiers and the free reset-start counter. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data. Two honest boundaries:

It does not delete backup files you previously exported — those are in the location you chose, under your control.
It does not cancel a Google Play subscription (cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions) and does not erase transaction records that Google Play or RevenueCat are required to retain. For a privacy request about those records, contact us and we will point you to the right route with each provider.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data we hold — including access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection. Because TidyPace is designed so that we hold almost nothing (typically just support emails you send us), most requests will be about that correspondence. To exercise any right, email support_tidypace@trysignabench.com. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes — including when the app moves from pre-release to release — we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL.
